I'm a dentist who went on to build and run three businesses across dental and health, and I now invest in and mentor the owners coming up behind me. I bring that owner's view into clinics, boardrooms and onto stages: leadership, growth, profit, and the conversations everyone's been avoiding.

Theory-only, death-by-slides sessions
Not slide decks. The work sits outside the mouth: how the team communicates, how treatment gets explained, how the day is scheduled, what the numbers are telling you, and why good people leave. I do it from the owner's chair, not the sidelines, because I have built, bought into and run businesses of my own.
In practice that means leadership, business, profit and mentorship. Four ways in, depending on what you need.
Not sure which one fits your clinic? Tell me what is going on and I will point you at the right thing.
Book a discovery callI talk about the parts of dentistry nobody covers at uni: leading a team, owning and growing a business, investing in yourself, and building a career you actually want to keep. Big energy, plain language, and takeaways people use the next morning.

Thriving, Not Just Surviving in Your First Year of Private Practice
Written for final-year students and new graduates, and delivered at La Trobe, Adelaide and Melbourne universities. Less about clinical upskilling, more about the business of the job: reading a contract, understanding how a practice makes money, backing yourself in a treatment conversation, and lasting more than five years in the profession.

Dentist · Multi-business owner · Investor & mentor
BHSc(Dent), MDent (La Trobe), MRACDS (PDS)
Dentist by training, entrepreneur by choice, and the loudest person at the study club by accident. I own and run three businesses across dental and health, invest in a few more, and mentor the owners coming up behind me. Every one of them taught me the same lesson: the clinical work is rarely the hard part. The team is tired, the systems are held together with goodwill, and nobody wants to have the awkward conversation.
So that is what I teach and invest in. The leadership, business and money skills I had to go out and learn myself, delivered the way I wish someone had delivered them to me: plainly, warmly, and with a lot less shame. Universities bring me in for their graduating students; practice owners bring me in when the business has outgrown the way it was built.
Off the clock: strong coffee, long lists, and dragging my friends to things they never agreed to.
“I will say the thing your team has been tiptoeing around. Everyone will laugh. Then we will fix it.”
My whole approach, in one sentence
Everything I teach is tested in these three first, and in the businesses I back. If it does not work on my own floor, it does not make it into a training day.
Mildura Family Dental
General and family practice. My home clinic, and where most of the lessons come from.
Perio Implant Harmony
Referral-level periodontics and implants, built around getting the case plan right the first time.
MediCupboard
Smart inventory for healthcare. Born out of being sick of stock going missing and money leaking out.
